Free Quote for Your Loft Conversion

Free quote requests are answered within 24 hours, and there is no obligation attached to any of it. Tell us where the property is and what you are thinking, and we will arrange a survey at a time that suits you. The survey takes about an hour and costs nothing whether or not you go ahead.

We quote after seeing the roof, never before. That is the whole point. A figure produced from a floor plan or a photograph is a guess, and guesses move upward once someone finally goes up the ladder.

What Happens Next

  • We call you back within 24 hours. A short conversation to understand the property and answer anything obvious before anyone visits.
  • We survey the loft. About an hour. We measure head height from the ceiling joists to the ridge, establish whether the roof is cut or trussed, check the span direction and work out where a compliant staircase can land.
  • You get a fixed written quotation. Structural calculations, Building Regulations submission, staircase and making good all included in the figure, with no provisional sums left hanging.

What We Will Ask You

Three things help us give you a useful answer on the first call. Roughly when the house was built, since that indicates whether the roof is likely to be cut or trussed. Whether the roof slopes inward at the end, which means a hipped roof and probably a gable. And what you want the space for, because a bedroom with an en suite and a home office are different jobs.

None of it is essential. If you do not know, we will find out at the survey.

Where We Work

We cover Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding area, including Rayleigh, Rochford, Benfleet, Canvey Island and Basildon.

If you would rather understand the options before speaking to anyone, the cost guide sets out 2026 prices by conversion type, and the head height guide explains the one measurement that decides what your roof can take.

Building Regulations requirements for loft conversions are published by LABC.
